From humble beginnings big things grow
MBS Architectural are an Australian owned & operated, family run business. Our original beginnings were in wall and suspended ceiling framing, from the smallest fastener to the most complex framing system. Over the years we have transitioned into being one of Australia’s leading suppliers of architectural ceiling products, ranging from traditional suspended ceiling tiles to complex parametric and geometric linings of various materialities including metal, aluminium, steel, polyester, wood wool and natural timber.
We place a high value on collaboration and innovation, which means we’re always on the lookout for new materials to play with, new technologies to assist in collaboration and emerging concepts in design to inspire us. This focus ensures we are at the forefront of feature ceiling design and are constantly partnering with new and emerging brands to bring the design community the latest in lining design. Our architectural ceiling product range consists of ten product options, making our suspended ceiling range the broadest in Australia. This breadth of range is unique and means we have the potential to be your one-stop shop for all your suspended ceiling needs. That means one contact for all your feature ceiling requirements, instead of managing relationships across three or four different suppliers on a single project. It also means we have vast experience working across many different ceiling product ranges and are in the best position to assist with all the small things on a project that help turn a good design into a great design; such as the details, the integration of services or how you approach transitions between different ceiling applications.

Working together
All design is possible. Our role as your design partner is to find a way to make your design possible, with the budget that you have. When assessing new concepts, our first focus is on finding a core element of the design that is repeatable. This is usually a form of connection, that we can make consistent across the project.
This reduces complex to simple for the installer. By repeating a consistent connection, this brings ‘complex’ back to ‘simple’ for the installer. Allowing them to install as efficiently as possible, consequently keeping labour costs low.
