Project Overview
The Wood Wool Baffles on this project were dual designed byClark Hopkins Clarke & the manufacturing plant in Austria. Each room of baffles had its own bespoke design, with the makeup of multiple baffles to suit the room’s width. Along with the various RAL & Dulux colours matching in each row, the specified wave profile added to the complexity of the installation, as each baffle needed to align perfectly to give the full effect.
These were manufactured and packed separately for quick installation on site in order to meet the tight schedule CICG were undergoing before hand over for the new school year. Throughout the common areas the 35mm Wood Wool Panels were installed on a concealed grid system giving a flush finish. The high acoustics of the 2400mm planks were well suited for the few open area learning centres of this building to reduce the large traffic of noise.
