Project Overview
The brand-new Skyline Room in the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, is an impressive event venue that is used for a great variety of occasions. This space has recently been renovated and it impresses with its luxurious interior decor and its room-height windows that provide a breathtaking view of the city. The 'gilded' metal ceiling solution contributes towards this exclusive atmosphere and it frames the view of the skyline to great effect.
The raft ceiling sections, anodised in Champagne Gold, were designed to meet specific customer requirements and they merge seamlessly into the luxurious atmosphere of this interior. They comprise 3 mm thicknesses of perforated aluminium panel, rounded to form a U shape. To align these panels perfectly at their butt seams, very stylish connectors were employed. In addition to the U-shaped raft ceilings, a 10 metre length of S-shaped metal ceiling provides elegant cladding for the different heights within this interior space.
This combination of luxurious atmosphere, first-class interior decor and an artistic ceiling design makes the Skyline Room one of the most exclusive event locations in Melbourne.
